Welcome to our Chapter! The Washington, DC Metro Area Voice for Career Services Professionals Changes - Changes - Changes. It is now official that all former Chapters of ACP, International have been transitioned to an independent status as of March 1, 2008. Our local Washington, DC Metro Chapter is alive and well, and we on the Board of Directors have been working hard to revise our Bylaws so we can continue to provide our membership with all the same benefits and more. What does this mean to you? CHAPTER BYLAWS: Be on the lookout for our revised Bylaws. We are asking for a vote of the membership so we can finalize the Bylaws for the Washington, DC Metro Chapter within the next few weeks. WASHINGTON, DC METRO CHAPTER DUES: The Board has voted to charge an annual professional membership fee of $55.00. It is important to note that this is a stand-alone membership, and you do not need to belong to the International organization in order to join the Washington, DC Metro Chapter. Now that the two organizations are separate, the Chapter's Membership Chair will be notifying you with in the next several days regarding the process of local membership. ACP, INTERNATIONAL DUES: For those of you who belong to ACP, International, you will be notified by ACP, International when your International membership is due and any changes to that Membership.
